Dr. Brewer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She did her undergrad at the University of Kentucky and majored in Agricultural Biotechnology. Prior to graduating from Auburn, Dr. Brewer worked as a kennel tech, veterinary assistant, and even in a parasitology lab. She shares her home with her husband, William, who is a paramedic and a great cook! They have two Border Collies, Cadi and Kite, and live in Frankfort, Kentucky. Dr. Brewer’s areas of special interest include soft tissue surgery, emergency care, and neurology. In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors. This ranges from hiking, biking, and rock climbing to camping. She loves visiting US national parks and even named her dog Cadi after her favorite national park, the Acadia National Park. When she’s not doing something outdoors, she spends her time dog training and playing board games with friends. Fun facts about Dr. Brewer: her favorite wild animals are rhinos, and her favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings.
